Chicago Bears running back Cedric Benson was arrested yesterday for driving a boat while under the influence of alcohol. He also was charged with resisting arrest. Both charges are misdemeanors and Benson posted bond this morning.
After leaving the game against the Denver Broncos yesterday on the cart, things did not look too good for Chicago Bears running back Cedric Benson. Today the Bears confirmed the worst and announced that Benson will have season ending surgery.
Thankfully my prediction of a boring game between the Chicago Bears and the Denver Broncos did not come true. In fact, the Bears OT win over the Broncos was probably the most exciting game this season.
The Chicago Bears lost another game that they could have won today, this time to the Seattle Seahawks. If a few more catchable passes would have been caught, and few more blocks would have been made, this could have had a better outcome than a 30-23 loss.

There is not much really that can be said for the Chicago Bears dismal performance against the Detroit Lions yesterday. Brian Griese looked like Rex Grossman, although he did actually move his feet. The interceptions were still there, the sacks against were still there, and the rushing game was still not there.
The Chicago Bears did not show up to play last night and lost a disastrous game 34-10 to the Dallas Cowboys. At halftime the game was tied 3-3, but in the second half, the offense could not do much of anything and the defense struggled after several key injuries.

Chicago Bear Lance Briggs will be hosting a charity fashion show. The event, called “Fall into Fashion,” is being co-hosted by Chicago Cubs player Derrek Lee, Chicago Bulls player Chris Duhon, and Ultimate Fighting Champion Andrei Arlovski.
